Michele G. Johnson's diverse commercial litigation practice encompasses the areas of intellectual property and products liability. Ms. Johnson's products liability practice is focused in the areas of pharmaceutical and premises liability litigation. Ms. Johnson has specialized experience in the areas of internet and computer law, cyber law, domain name disputes, internet trespass, digital rights management (DRM), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and civil liability for online content.
In her career, Ms. Johnson has actively participated in cases involving claims of trade dress, copyright and trademark infringement, internet trespass, misappropriation of trade secrets and defamation in both state and federal court. In addition, Ms. Johnson has experience in the resolution of domain name disputes under the Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) adopted by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).
