BLG attorney secured defense verdict in Workers' Compensation Trial

| Terry Ford tried a workers’ compensation case on 5/5/09 in Sarasota before judge Diane Beck. The claimant sustained a compensable back injury while in the course and scope of his employment. He alleged sustaining a herniation at L3-4 which did not manifest itself until nearly 3 years after the work event. The claimant requested, among other things, permanent total disability benefits. The judge denied the requested benefits resulting in a zero verdict for the claimant. |
