Florida Bar to recognize longevity in the profession
June 20, 2011

The depth of legal experience in the Tampa Bay area runs deep — a half-century deep in some cases. Such senior lawyers, the ones who have been there and done that usually more than once, give firms expertise honed by experience, long-term client relationships and a type of prestige that draws new clients.

The Florida Bar The Florida Bar Follow this company recognizes the value these lawyers provide to the profession and will honor lawyers who, as of this year, attain the 50-year anniversary of admittance to the practice of law in the state. The June 24 luncheon at the Bar’s annual convention near Orlando also recognizes senior counselors, or lawyers who have practiced for 50 years or more but have not been members of The Florida Bar for the entire period.

Elizabeth Kovachevich, Tampa federal judge and one of those to be honored will be the speaker.
