William Gower and Alexander Metras obtaind a favorable defense verdict following a week long jury trial in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Plaintiff was claiming permanent injuries following a motor vehicle accident in which the Plaintiff was side-swiped by another vehicle pushing the Plaintiff into another vehicle.
The Plaintiff claimed he had never been injured before and now had permanent injuries to his neck, back, and knee as a result of the accident. Mr. Gower and Mr. Metras argued that the injuries were temporary and that the jury should only award part of the Plaintiff’s medical bills.
The jury returned a verdict on Friday afternoon siding with Mr. Gower and Mr. Metras’ arguments that the Plaintiff had not suffered permanent injuries and only awarded a portin of the Plaintiff’s claimed medical bills.
