Tracy Falkowitz, a partner in Banker Lopez Gassler’s Tampa office, has kicked off the annual Friends of Joshua House school supply drive at BLG. Friends of Joshua House is a program of the Children’s Home Society of Florida, Gulf Coast division that serves as a safe place for abused, abandoned and neglected children.
The children at Joshua House, like our own children, need all of their school supplies on the first day of school. Many of the children arrive at Joshua House many grade levels behind or having no schooling at all due to the abusive environment in which they were raised. Therefore, Friends of Joshua House tries to ease the anxiety and bring them to grade level by providing them with the same supplies that all of their classmates have on the first day of school.
Ms. Falkowitz is currently collecting the following items as part of her school supply drive:
