Congratulations to William Gower III for being named Best Advocate at the January 18th Trial Lawyers Section’s Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition.The competition was part of the Trial Lawyers Summit in Orlando.
Two teams of four Stetson law students competed against each other in this year’s final round of the Chester Bedell Mock Trial Competition. The team of Brandon Blake, Claudette Goyanes, Diego Novaes and Adriane Ovcharenko won the competition and the team of William Gower, Erica Emas, Erica Farawell and Austin Miniard placed second. This year’s win puts Stetson’s competition record at 20 out of 30 times, including last year.
William Gower is a third year law student at Stetson University College of Law and a member of the university’s Mock Trial team. Mr. Gower is also a Law Clerk at Banker Lopez Gassler that is slated to join the firm’s General Trial Practice Group as an Associate this fall.
